The SA-156 is now available on the State Aid WEB page at http://stateaid.nysed.gov on the BOCES tab. The SA-156 allows BOCES Special Education and Alternative Education offices to compute the full-time equivalent enrollment of students with disabilities and of students in various programs for which equivalent attendance is a factor in the generation of General State Aid to school districts. Once your staff has completed a form for a specific school district, it should be transmitted to the school district for use in claiming State Aid payable in 2007-08. School districts must include the reported full-time equivalent enrollments on Form A of the State Aid Data Entry Assistant for School Districts, which is due in the Education Department on September 1, 2007.
Please note that BOCES State Aid is available for equivalent attendance programs. If BOCES chooses BOCES Aid, the equivalent attendance data for pupils in this program should not be reported to the school districts.
