CoSer Reports

Several reports are available to support the CoSer functionality of SAMS.

 

Access the Reports

 

To access the various CoSer Reports, select one from the CoSer System > CoSer Reports menu of the BOCES subsystem.

 

CoSer Approval Status Report

 

The CoSer Approval Status Report displays several different activity code/PSN combinations and the data associated with those combinations. This includes the number of pupils served, the last date of action, whether or not it is a cross contract, whether or not there is an aid restriction, and the total revenues. This data is shown for only one BOCES at a time.

 

Access the Report

 

To access the CoSer Approval Status Report navigate to CoSer System > CoSer Reports > CoSer Approval Status Report. Once this link is clicked the CoSer Approval Status Report will appear in the main window.

 

Filtering and Sorting

The CoSer Approval Status Report provides the user three different filtering/sorting options.

 

1) The first filter is for the BOCES, the user is provided three sorting options;

 - Current BOCES (requires a BOCES to be selected in the heading)

 - BEDS Code (a valid BEDS Code must be entered)

 - BOCES Name (all or part of a valid BOCES name must be entered)

 

2) The second filter option is by Activity Code or PSN. The user is given the option to filter on neither of these, a single PSN, or a single Activity Code.  To use this sorting method, click the radio button on the corresponding line and enter a value for either the PSN or Activity Code.

 

3) The third option the user is given is for sorting the data.  The data may be sorted by the Activity Code, PSN, or Date of Action. By default the primary sort column is Activity Code and the secondary sort column is PSN. To change either of these options select the corresponding radio button under the primary or secondary sort columns. The third sorting option is to sort the data in either ascending or descending order.

 

Run the Report:

 

To run the CoSer Approval Status Report after accessing it and selecting the desired filtering and sorting methods, click the "Get Status Report" button. The report will be displayed below.

 

 

CoSer Cross Contract Report

 

The CoSer Cross Contract Report displays current cross contracts between BOCES. The first BOCES is the one that provides the service, for this the report shows the BEDS Code, BOCES name, activity code, activity title, and PSN. For the BOCES receiving the service only the BEDS code and BOCES name are displayed. This report can be run for two or more BOCES at a time.

 

Access the Report

 

To access the CoSer Cross Contract Report navigate to CoSer System > CoSer Reports > CoSer Cross Contract Report. Once this link is clicked the CoSer Cross Contract Report will appear in the main window.

 

Filtering and Sorting

The CoSer Cross Contract Report provides the user three different filtering/sorting options.

 

1) The first filter is for the provided by and received by BOCES. For both, the user is provided four sorting options;

 - Current BOCES (requires a BOCES to be selected in the heading)

 - BEDS Code (a valid BEDS Code must be entered)

 - BOCES Name (all or part of a valid BOCES name must be entered)

 - All BOCES

 

2) The second filter option is by Activity Code or PSN. The user is given the option to filter on neither of these, a single PSN, or a single Activity Code.  To use this sorting method, click the radio button on the corresponding line and enter a value for either the PSN or Activity Code.

 

3) The third option given is for sorting the data.  The data may be sorted by the Activity Code, Providing BOCES PSN, Providing BOCES BEDS Code, Providing BOCES Name, Receiving BOCES Beds Code, or Receiving BOCES Name. By default the primary sort column is Activity Code and the secondary sort column is the Providing BOCES PSN. To change either of these options select the corresponding radio button under the primary or secondary sort columns. The third sorting option is to sort the data in either ascending or descending order.

 

Run the Report:

 

To run the CoSer Cross Contract Report after accessing it and selecting the desired filtering and sorting methods, click the "Get Status Report" button. The report will be displayed below.

 

 

CoSer Service Description Status Report

 

The CoSer Service Description Status Report displays activity code/PSN combinations for one or more BOCES.  For each combination the current CoSer status and status date are shown.

 

Access the Report

 

To access the CoSer Service Description Status Report navigate to CoSer System > CoSer Reports > CoSer Service Description Status Report. Once this link is clicked the report will appear in the main window.

The CoSer Service Description Status Report provides the user three different filtering/sorting options.

 

1) The first filter is for the BOCES, the user is provided four sorting options;

 - Current BOCES (requires a BOCES to be selected in the heading)

CoSer Service Description Status History Report

 

The CoSer Service Description Status History Report groups items by their activity code/PSN combination and for each combination displays the status history.  This includes the status date and the CoSer status at that time.  This data can be shown for only one BOCES at a time.

To access the CoSer Service Description Status History Report navigate to CoSer System > CoSer Reports > CoSer Service Description Status History Report. Once this link is clicked the report will appear in the main window.

CoSer Revenue Report

 

The CoSer Revenue Report groups items by Activity Code. For each activity code/PSN combination it will display the number of districts and pupils served, the last date of action, the total revenues, and the basis for charge.  The report also adds up the totals for each activity code group and for all results. This data can be shown for a one or more than one BOCES.

 

Access the Report

 

To access the CoSer Revenue Report navigate to CoSer System > CoSer Reports > CoSer Revenue Report. Once this link is clicked the CoSer Revenue Report will appear in the main window.

1) The first filter is for the BOCES, the user is provided four sorting options;

 - All BOCES

 - Current BOCES (requires a BOCES to be selected in the heading)

 - BEDS Code (a valid BEDS Code must be entered)

 - BOCES Name (all or part of a valid BOCES name must be entered)

 

2) The second filter option is by Activity Code or PSN. The user is given the option to filter on neither of these, a single PSN, or a single Activity Code.  To use this sorting method, click the radio button on the corresponding line and enter a value for either the PSN or Activity Code.

The fourth sorting option is to sort the data in either ascending or descending order.

To run the CoSer Revenue Report after accessing it and selecting the desired filtering and sorting methods, click the "Get Status Report" button. The report will be displayed below.
