The SA-109

The purpose of the SA-109 is to determine the exact amount per project of aidable capital expense that can be claimed for an aid year. By the end of the aid year, the allocated capital amounts on the SED-approved SA-109 and the allocated capital amounts in SAMS (Capital and Rent Expenditure report) must be equal.

The projects that are loaded will be listed in the summary form.

The SA-109 Bond form is shown below the entity information is prefilled from the entity information from the SAMS page. The project information for the bonds are either listed as DASNY or Multiple. The total amount of financed cost and the approved financed project cost and the Bond Percent.

 The component information is allocated by the RWADA percentage. There is also a comment area under the component information that can be used for additional information that may be needed for the project review. This may include when the SA-139 is going to be sent to the Office of State Aid or if an FP-FI is being reviewed.

The SA-109 Capital projects are entered individually by the last seven digits of the facilities planning project number. The total project cost and total aidable amount will be recorded.

The component information is allocated by the RWADA percentage. There is a comment area to record any information that could be useful to the Office of State Aid regarding the project claim.

 

The SA-116a

The purpose of the SA-116 is to determine the exact amount of aidable rent expense that can be claimed for an aid year. By the end of the aid year, the allocated rent amounts on the SED-approved SA-116 and the allocated rent amounts in SAMS must be equal.

 The projects that are loaded will be listed in the summary form.

The SA-116A collects information on facilities that are rented by the BOCES. The identification information and location of the rented facility is collected along with the total aidable amount. There is a comment area on the bottom of the form for any comments that the BOCES may make for the process of the lease claim.
