Urgent: Three Year BEDS/SIRS Enrollment Summary Report

The Three Year Enrollment Summary report has been refreshed with data as of April 2013 and published on the State Aid website.  It is critical that districts review the counts on the Three Year Enrollment Summary report to ensure they are accurate.  State Aid is impacted by these counts.  The report can be found by replacing the “xxxxxx” in the following link with the 6 digit district code https://stateaid.nysed.gov/xmlreport/rptAllBEDS_tab_12.asp?dcode=xxxxxx

The report displays three years (2010, 2011 & 2012) of BEDS/SIRS enrollment counts and free and reduced price lunch counts based on data reported to the Education Department.  The data was collected by the Department via the SIRS and BEDS On-Line systems.

If after review, it is determined the data is not accurate, changes should be made via the SIRS system or BEDS Online, as applicable (see guide to data source mapping and revision procedures at: http://www.p12.nysed.gov/irs/beds/home.html#3yrEnrol). Remember that the data are from an April snapshot and you should confirm the latest data based on the sources indicated in the guide as posted. If after reviewing the procedures additional assistance is required, please contact the Office of Information and Reporting Services (IRS) @ (518) 474-7965 .

Please be advised in August 2013 the IRS Office will transmit to State Aid the final counts for all of the 2012 BEDS/SIRS items.  Therefore, it is imperative that any and all necessary changes be processed before this final data file is extracted from the SIRS and the BEDS On-Line systems and transmitted to State Aid.
