2017-2018 Definition of Charter School Basic Tuition
and Supplemental Basic Tuition

Pursuant to paragraph (a) of subdivision 1 of section 2856 of the Education Law, as amended by Chapter 59 of the Laws of 2017, total 2017-18 Charter School Basic Tuition to be paid to charter schools is the sum of 2016-17 Charter School Basic Tuition (including Supplemental Basic Tuition) plus $500.

The 2017-18 Supplemental Basic Tuition reimbursement to school districts, payable in 2018-19, is the sum of the 2016-17 Supplemental Basic tuition plus $500.
