IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED BY DISTRICTS THAT WERE DENIED TRANSPORTATION AID FOR CONTRACTS FOR EXPENSE YEARS 2004-05 THROUGH 2011-12:

 

Section 16-a of Chapter 57 of the Laws of 2012 allows for districts who were denied Transportation Aid for school district transportation contracts for expense year 2004-5 through 2011-12 to apply for payment provided districts can demonstrate that such actions or omissions that led to the disapproval were inadvertent and minor clerical or technical errors.  To be considered please submit the relevant contract or contract extension number, year of the contract or contract extension, amount of the contract or contract extension, reason for disapproval, and district explanation of why the error was an inadvertent and minor clerical or technical mistake.   This submission should be approved by the superintendent of schools.  All submissions must be postmarked, faxed or emailed by December 31, 2012.  For further information, or questions please call Mary Sansaricq at 518-474-6541 or send emails to PTRANS@MAIL.NYSED.GOV
